The assignment I was given was to creatively make my own duveltje in een doosje (Jack in the box).
I thought it was important that my Jack in the box had a duty. That is why I have chosen to link it to a social topic. As a social topic I chose the plastic soup. I chose this because the environment is an important subject for me. The plastic soup is therefore my own Jack in the box.
The globe is a beautiful display from the outside. There is a lot of green and it is lively. On top of the globe there is a plastic bottle. This bottle is attached to a lock on the inside of the globe. By removing the bottle from the globe it will open. On the inside of the globe is an ocean and the damage caused by single-use plastics such as the plastic bottle, plastic packaging materials and plastic bags… the plastic soup. With this Jack in the box, I hope to make people aware about the use of plastic.
