I made this project during my internship at the Efteling. The tree serves as a presentation of my internship report. The design is inspired by the Babbelboom (chat tree) that was placed in the Efteling during my internship.

How it's made
After drawing my design on paper, I cut the tree from foam by hand. I made a thin mold of the shape with silicone. I then reinforced this with a polyester outer mold. By rotomolding this shape with casting resin I created a sturdy and hollow product. I sawed off the face of the tree and made it demountable with magnets. Then I painted the tree, made a stand to put my internship report on, and painted typical Efteling mice and placed them on the inside of the tree.
